Hacienda Tres Rios
Hacienda Tres Ríos

Hacienda Tres Ríos, the only environmentally responsible luxury resort that offers exclusive access to the Tres Ríos Nature Park in the Riviera Maya, with our All Inclusive Plan. Enjoy architecturally acclaimed accommodations, fine dining, world-class spa services, and dazzling experiences at the exclusive Tres Ríos Nature Park with tours through mangrove forests, swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking in natural rivers — or just unwind on its tranquil beaches.

The Tres Ríos Sustainable Development Mission is focused on maintaining its leadership as a model of sustainable tourism development, channeling all its actions towards the rational use of resources, the preservation of ecosystems, the implementation of good environmental practices, the creation of high quality experiences for visitors, and the strengthening of its social responsibility.

Originally born as an ecological park, Tres Ríos closed its doors to begin with the studies which leaded to the construction of the eco-luxury resort Hacienda Tres Ríos. Thus on November 2008, Hacienda Tres Ríos opened its doors, offering the nature park services, exclusively for the hotel guests.

Located at the heart of the Riviera Maya in the Yucatán Peninsula, México, the Tres Ríos Nature Park and its attractions unveil over 326 acres of well preserved tropical jungle, where three pure water rivers flow, ten cenotes emerge and more than 131 animal species and 120 plant species can be found. As one of the Riviera Maya private property’s natural treasures, Tres Ríos follows strict rules and environmental policies, following the model of sustainable tourism, which regulates the whole development inside the property.

Tres Ríos’ name derives from the crystal clear rivers that flow through the mangrove trees. It is the only resort on the Yucatan Peninsula to contain natural rivers rather than channels and consists of three ecosystems: lush jungle, mangrove forests and coastal dune, each with its own wildlife and vegetation creating a totally unique landscape. A total of 120 species of plants and more than 90 animal species await travelers.

Tres Ríos is a place of exceptional beauty guarded by rigorous environmental standards. Tres Ríos denotes the sustainability of natural and cultural resources, applying only necessary infrastructure to facilitate sustainable development with stringent monitoring of environmental impact. About 150 acres of land will be maintained as a reserve with little-to-no development to ensure the perfect balance of human enjoyment while protecting the greatest natural resources. The Mexican government recently recognized Tres Ríos for being at the fore of environmental stewardship.

Tres Ríos is set to become a unique international destination and a model for environmentally sustainable tourism. When completed, the Tres Ríos master plan will include five hotels with more than 1,700 suites, full- and part-time residences, a world-class marina, a premium spa, beach club, convention center, an estuary and nature park complete with a visitor center, Mayan cultural center, estuary bird sanctuary and botanical garden. Tres Ríos brings unique activities and Mexican tradition to travelers, sharing honor and warmth with visitors who are welcome as more than guests; they’re family.
